Know Your Taxes

The Pocket Smart: Know Your Taxes program was created specifically to help Latinos make informed financial choices, today and tomorrow. The program provides knowledge, insights and tools on a range of important topics — such as budgeting, establishing and protecting your credit and planning ahead. Through the program, LULAC and Jackson Hewitt hope to give individuals a sound foundation on which to build and manage their financial future and avoid pitfalls during tax season.

Like it or not, you will have to pay your taxes for the rest of your life. The trouble is understanding tax code requires time that most of us do not have. Even Albert Einstein admitted, "The hardest thing in the world to understand is the income tax." The friendly and knowledgeable tax pros at Jackson Hewitt explain a few complexities of the tax code and how the Affordable Care Act (ACA) effects your taxes. Helping consumers to complete the most accurate tax return.
