Pocket Smart is a program designed to educate Latino consumers on financial management and how to avoid predatory practices and schemes. Latino communities are often targeted by predatory schemes due to a number of factors.

Given the tremendous need to combat these practices targeting Latino communities, LULAC has created the Pocket Smart program to address the issues of consumer fraud. Through this program, LULAC plans to empower the Latino community with this knowledge so that they know how to protect themselves from scams.
